Last updated: 20 October 2026

1. Who we are

This site is run by Alessio Tortorelli, for the tourist rental (locazione turistica) «L'Ulivo D'oro», Via Michelangelo Buonarroti 26, 74014 Laterza (TA), Italy. CIN IT073009C200098818, regional identification code TA07300991000056802.

2. Use of the site

The site is for information only. You may not use it for unlawful purposes, attempt to disrupt its operation or security, or harvest its content by automated means.

3. Bookings

The site does not sell stays or confirm bookings. Online bookings are made on third-party platforms (such as Booking.com): the contract, prices, payment methods and cancellation policy are those shown by the platform at the time of booking, under its own terms and conditions.

Direct bookings arranged by phone, WhatsApp or email are only confirmed by a written confirmation from the owner stating the price, payment terms and cancellation terms.

4. Accuracy of information

We take care over the information published (rooms, amenities, distances, ratings). It may, however, change over time: in case of differences, the conditions shown on the booking platform or confirmed in writing by the owner prevail. Travel times are approximate and cite their source; ratings are those published by the platforms on the date shown.

5. Your stay and house rules

  • Check-in: From 15:00 to 17:00.
  • Check-out: To be agreed with the host.
  • Children: Welcome at all ages. Cot on request (0–5 years) at €15 per stay, subject to availability; no extra beds.
  • Pets: Allowed on request; a supplement may apply.
  • Smoking: Not allowed anywhere on the property.
  • Parties and events: Not allowed, nor are stag or hen parties.
  • Documents: on arrival a valid identity document is required for each guest, as required by Italian law (Art. 109 TULPS).

6. Cancellations

For bookings made on a platform, the conditions of the chosen rate apply, as shown before you confirm. For direct bookings, the cancellation terms stated in the owner's written confirmation apply (section 3).

7. Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, logo and graphics of the site belong to the owner or are used with permission (some photos on the Surroundings page come from Wikimedia Commons and are used under the licences shown below each one), and are protected by Italian copyright law (Law 633/1941). They may not be copied, reproduced or used without written permission. Third-party trademarks mentioned (such as Booking.com, Google, Tripadvisor and WhatsApp) belong to their respective owners.

8. Links to third-party sites

The site contains links to third-party sites (booking platforms, maps, reviews). We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, their terms or how they process personal data.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for damage arising from temporary interruptions of the site, clerical errors in the information published or the use of third-party sites reached through links. Consumers' statutory rights are not affected.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction (Art. 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code); in all other cases, the court of Taranto has jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these terms at any time; the version in force is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top. The Italian version prevails.
